Najdorf Main Line (6.Bg5)

The classical mainline of the Najdorf, where White pins the f6 knight with 6.Bg5 and aims for a direct attack with Qd2, O-O-O and f4. Black responds with ...e6 and ...Nbd7, preparing the famous Polugaevsky and Poisoned Pawn complexes. This is the most theoretically deep line in all of chess - a battlefield of memorisation and understanding.
